Two identical Brazilian Rosewood guitars with Cut-away made from salvaged Brazilian beams. Western Red Cedar tops. Paua top edge, back center strips and end wedge borders. Radial cut Brazilian Rosewood and wide Paua rosettes. Full vine inlay on fingerboard with WBW edging. Paua infilled “O” on ebony peghead with custom “Dragon Treble Clef” inlay. Ebony peghead back veneer with WBW purfling. Paua bridge wing inlays.

This guitar was built to commemorate Jim’s 40th Anniversary as a guitar
maker. From 1977 to 2017. This one of a kind “Collector Series” guitar has all the bells and whistles.
Straight grained old growth Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with a cut-away. Cedar top with a 42-Style top edge, back center strip and end wedge borders. Wide Paua rosette set in Brazilian Rosewood. Paua shell headstock and fingerboard edging. Full vine inlay on fingerboard and partial vine on inlay peghead. Vine wing inlays on bridge. Brazilian peghead back veneer. Koa bindings and end wedge. All inlay by all construction done solely by Jim Olson.
